FourballHQ Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

FourballHQ ("we," "us") runs fourballhq.com and the FourballHQ sign-up pages and Commish Desk used by golf clubs and their weekly games. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you request a demo. We collect the name, club, email address and note you type into the request-demo form. We also record the date and time and a keyed hash of the IP address the request came from, to help stop spam. We keep that hash for up to 30 days.

When you start a free game. We collect the name and email address of the commissioner who sets up the game, and the game name. We use the email to confirm the sign-up, send the game links and send messages about keeping the game active.

When you use a game page. When a player signs up for a game, we store the first and last name they enter and the names of any guests they add. Commissioners may also add names to a club's roster, set groups, tee times and cart pairs, and write a game note. We store this game information so the club can run its game.

Spam protection. Our sign-up forms use a captcha service, Cloudflare Turnstile, to check that a real person is signing up. It may process technical information about your browser and device.

Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered securely and protected from abuse.

What we don't do

Cookies and local storage

We only use functional cookies or browser storage that the service needs to work, such as remembering that you've entered a demo access code or that a commissioner is signed in to the Commish Desk. You can clear these at any time in your browser; you may need to sign in again.

How we use information

Who we share it with

Third-party content

Our marketing pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to download them.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests for 30 days. Game data means the club's roster, guests, weekly sign-ups, groups and game notes. While your plan is active, we keep your roster and game history, even if you go weeks or months without a game, and commissioners can reset a week or download a backup any time. Within 60 days after your plan ends, we delete it, unless the club asks us to keep it or the law requires otherwise.

Free games. If a free game has no week with at least 2 players signed in for 15 days, we email the commissioner to ask if the group is still playing. One click keeps the game. If there's no reply, we send reminders 7 days and 3 days before archiving. We archive the game on day 29. An archived game can be restored for 30 days. After that, we permanently delete it, including players' names and the commissioner's email. That's no more than 60 days after the last game.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Players can also ask their club's commissioner to remove their name from a game or roster. To make a request, contact us at hello@fourballhq.com or through the request-demo form at fourballhq.com/request-demo/. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

FourballHQ is meant for adults organizing golf games. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), private sign-up links and password-protected Commish Desks. No online service can be completely secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let clubs know.
