Questions from clubs and commissioners

Here are the things golf pros, club managers and commissioners ask us most about running a weekly game with FourballHQ.

What is FourballHQ?

FourballHQ is a sign-up page and a Commish Desk for your club's weekly golf game. Players use one link to put their name in. The person running the game uses the Commish Desk to manage the roster, guests, tee times, groups and cart pairs, all in one place.

Who is it for?

It's built for golf pros, club managers and the commissioners who run weekly group games, Saturday games and other regular games at a club. If you've ever kept the list in a group text, an email chain or a clipboard in the pro shop, it's for you.

How do players sign up?

You copy the players link from the Commish Desk and share it however your group already talks, usually a group text or club email. Players tap the link, type their first and last name, add a guest if they're bringing one, and see who's in right away. There's no app to download and no account to create.

What does the Commish Desk do?

The Commish Desk is where the commish runs the week. You can write the game note, see who's in, add or remove players, manage guests, set tee times, auto-fill or shuffle groups, set cart pairs, and close sign-up when you're full. When the groups are ready, you can copy clean text for the pro shop and a skins game note with the buy-in amounts, instead of retyping the list.

How do guests work?

When a player signs up, they can add a guest by name. The guest shows up on the list next to the member who invited them, so the commish always knows who's bringing whom.

Can I set cart pairs?

Yes. Inside each group, the order you add players sets the carts, so the first two ride together and the next two ride together. Guests stay with the member who brought them, and you can move anyone by hand.

Can FourballHQ help with skins and buy-ins?

Today, the Commish Desk writes a ready-to-send skins game note with your main game and skins buy-in amounts. Tracking who has paid, and working out payouts, is coming soon.

How long does setup take?

Setup is short. Write your game note, add your regulars to the roster by name or simply let them sign up through the link, and share it with your group. Importing a roster from a spreadsheet is coming soon.

What if someone else needs to run the game for a week?

Handoff is easy. Everything for the week, including the roster, sign-ups, guests and groups, lives in the Commish Desk, so whoever is covering can pick up where you left off without a long phone call.

What does it cost?

For clubs, there are three plans. Club is $1,199 a year for one active game. Multi-game is $1,599 a year for several games under one club with a shared roster. Connected is for clubs that want integrations and their own branding, and you can contact us for pricing. Club and Multi-game have zero onboarding fees. Plans for individual groups are coming soon.

Is our game page private?

Each game has its own sign-up page that only opens with your sign-up link, and you can make a fresh link whenever you like. The Commish Desk is protected by a commish password, so only the people running the game can make changes.

Can we get our groups out of FourballHQ?

Yes. You can copy the finished groups and cart pairs as clean text for the pro shop, and you can download a backup of your game any time. Spreadsheet export of groups and pairings, for the shop sheet or the tournament tools your club already uses, is coming soon.

How does support work?

Club and Multi-game come with bot-first support, so you can get answers to everyday questions quickly. Connected clubs get hands-on onboarding and ongoing support.

How do we get started?

Request a demo and tell us a little about your game. We'll show you around and get your club set up.
